The Center for History and New Media at George Mason University would
like to inform you of free resources available for researching and
teaching the history of science, technology, and industry through
ECHO: Exploring and Collecting History Online. We hope you make
colleagues and students aware of the opportunities offered through
our consulting services, small grants, workshops, website, and tools.

With support from the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation, ECHO offers
consulting services to institutions and individuals interested in
developing projects that collect the recent history of science,
technology, and industry online. We tailor our consultation to your
project's scope, focus, and budget to help you implement and build
your digital history collection. For examples of projects that employ
ECHO's methods and technologies to collect and present historical
materials on the Web, see the ECHO Collecting Center at
http://echo.gmu.edu/collecting.php.

To encourage the creation of "Digital Memory Banks" in the history of
science, technology, and industry, we are pleased to offer a number of
$1,000 grants to fund such projects. Please submit a proposal of no
more than 500 words and a C.V. to echo@chnm.gmu.edu by 15 November
2006.

For those who want to learn more about doing digital history, we also
periodically offer free workshops. Our next workshops will be held in
New York and Washington, D.C. during spring and summer 2007. For more
information, please see http://echo.gmu.edu/resources/workshops.php.

Through our website we currently make available a gateway to the best
websites in the history of science, technology, industry as well as
number of use research and teaching tools, including Survey Builder,
a tool which allows the easy online collection of historical data. We
also offer poll-building tools, a Web scrapbook program, a syllabus
finder, and Zotero, a new research and citation tool, all available
at http://chnm.gmu.edu/tools.

Интересно, спасибо. Вот разве что не смог найти текста с описанием этого гранта (To encourage the creation, etc.) ни по одной из 3 Ваших ссылок: не подскажете ли, откуда это?
