Cultural-historical psychology (KIP), 2005-2007 issues: Contents

I have just deleted an lj-community that I initiated a while ago, but the thing did not work out: too time-consuming and not motivating enough. Out of a couple of entries that were posted there, one seems to be of some potential interest to anybody, so I thought it might be not a bad idea to save it here before it is gone somewhere else. This is my post of May 28, 2008 with a table of contents of a contemporary Russian journal Cultural-Historical Psychology that from time to time publishes some stuff (archival materials and kinda researches) on the history of psychology, and, specifically, on the Local DeityTM Lev Vygotsky (1896-1934) (hint: to get to journal web-site just click the image).

For intance, of interest for an historian of psychology might be Paula Towsey's South African replication of Sakharov-Vygotsky's experimental study of what these researchers themselves believed was concept formation, perhaps the best-known experimental study of Vygotsky and his gang. Other highlights include David Bakhurst's reflections "On the Evolution of Activity Theory", a bio of I.A. Sokolyanskii, an innovative scholar and revolutionary educator of deaf-blind children (Russian analogue of Helen Keller; see an abstract and an arguably representative publication fragment), Munipov's speculations on the interwar history of Soviet psychotechnics (presently, industrial and applied psychology; here is a nice paper by Carpintero & Herrero on a similar topic) or publications of obscure or archival interwar period stuff by Vygotsky's first-hand students R. Levina, Boskis, Bozhovich, and Slavina (if interested in the Vygotsky gang feel free to consult a relatively recent dissertation titled Vygotsky Circle during the Decade of 1931-1941: Toward an Integrative Science of Mind, Brain, and Education, available online @ UofT website).
